Reiki Treatments
What is a Treatment Like?
Reiki treatment is a gentle, hands-on process that allows healing, balancing energy to be transferred through the practitioner to another person.
|
- Treatments are safe, non-intrusive, non-invasive, and non-manipulative.
- The recipient remains fully clothed and no substances are applied to the body.
- The practitioner's hands are placed on the head and torso unless touchless is more comfortable.
- Although the focus is on the major organs, the healing energy will reach and benefit every cell in the body.
- Sites of specific symptoms are addressed after the full basic treatment.
- During a treatment, each person draws just the right amount of universal energy that they need to promote physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing.
- The Usui System of Reiki is a natural art that anyone can learn. Ask about courses.
- Peaceful and relaxing music is played.

How Often Are Treatments Recommended?
Ideally, the first three treatments are scheduled within a two week period. After that, you set your own schedule based on your particular needs (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). People who have specific health challenges, are extremely stressed, or are in pain, may want more frequent sessions.
How Can Reiki Help?
-
Chronic Pain
Reiki relieves or reduces chronic and acute pain. People with chronic conditions should consider learning Reiki for daily self-treatment.
-
Illness
Reiki
accelerates the healing of all dis-ease.
Reiki supports those people undergoing cancer treatment.
-
Injury
Reiki
should not be used in place of traditional medical care. After receiving medical attention, Reiki can be used to accelerate healing of an injury.
-
Emotional Pain
Reiki
helps to release emotional pain from the present and past without reliving it.
-
Stress
Reiki
can be used as a relaxation technique since it triggers the 'Relaxation Response'. Most people feel refreshed and energized after a treatment or are extremely mellow.
